Curly needs to do SOMETHING!

Seriously.  Why is she here?  She's been here for a week now and at first it was okay - I like it when she's here; I can go out when I want, I get more treats, sometimes I get ear rubs.  But, there is a tradeoff.  She moves around the house too much and as soon as I lay down and get comfortable, she's off to another room.  Does she think I'm going to let her go by herself?  What if there are treats in there that need eaten?  No, I have to go, too.
She also thinks she gets to control the TV.  This is the big problem.  Usually when she leaves I get to hone my reputation as the most well informed pup in America, but not this week.  No, I have to endure endless hours of Law and Order.  How am I supposed to keep myself informed about the nuances of the Obama and Clinton campaigns?  For example, will Malia and Sasha get a dog?  If so, what kind?  Will it be a purebred?  I hope not, that seems sort of red state to me.

These are the issues that really matter and if Curly is here dumbing down the environment, how am I supposed to find out?  Just to be fair, The Guy does the same thing on Tuesdays and Fridays.  It's almost like he goes out the door and a few minutes later, he's back.  He doesn't watch Law and Order though, he watches ESPN.  I don't mind if he watches UGA or UT, but if he's watching Arizona or Kentucky or Davidson, well that is just unacceptable.

Oh yeah, I guess I should mention here that Curly and The Guy are expecting another "baby." Now, I don't know exactly what this means.  Is it another baby like me?  Somehow, I don't really think so because they both keep asking me not to eat it.  Whatever it means, I don't think I'm going to like it.

A Little Post-St. Patty's Day Wisdom

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind always be at your back.  The smells are more prominent that way.  May the cats in the neighborhood be gentle, may the treats always be plentiful.  Especially the pig's ears.  May the baths be few and far between, may the dirt in the yard be loose and muddy. That's the best dirt for digging a hole.  May your food be covered in gravy, may your ear rubs be plentiful.  Happy St. Paddy's Day.

Travapalooza

It's here again at last - the grandest holiday of them all!  A monthlong celebration of The Guy.  All Guy, all the time.  What could get any better?  Dinners, cakes, weightlifting equipment.  All in celebration of my The Guy.  And you silly people call me spoiled.
Speaking of gifts, The Man's squeaker is broken.  I'm very disappointed.  Curly keeps telling me she'll get me another one, but it's just not the same.  The Man and I have been through alot together since Christmas morning.

Curly keeps reading someone else's blog about Germany.  She seems really excited about it, and somehow I sense a trip in the future.  I suppose it's okay since the guy with The Voice usually comes to stay with me.  I would like to visit Germany myself, though.  I've always had a thing for German Shepards.

Where'd Curly go?

Okay, so I've been home alone with The Guy since Thursday.  Is Curly coming back?  It's just not the same without her here.  True, I do get more of the bed without her here, but I also don't get nearly as many treats.  I guess it's a trade-off.
The Guy put the phone to my ear on Saturday and I think I could hear Curly, but all she kept saying was "Hey Bull Pup.  What are you doing Bull Buddy?"  Did she really expect me to answer?  I don't know what that was all about.  When she gave the phone back to the The Guy he kept saying something about a "grassy knoll."  I don't know what that is, but it sounds like I'd like to pee on it!
The Guy keeps leaving and going to the hospital to see Mama Matheny.  I really hope she's okay.  I hear she really enjoyed the flowers I sent on Thursday.  Dialing the phone is a very tedious process for me (my dew claws always hit extra buttons).  I hope next time he goes he'll take me with him.
